Goa is an upcoming movie directed by Venkat Prabhu, the man who gave us the blockbuster hits, Chennai 600028 and Saroja. It is said to be a fun and frolic ‘jolly-good’ movie with an offbeat storyline. Venkat Prabhu has roped in his ‘regular cast’ for this movie – Jai, Premji Amaran, Vaibhav Reddy, Aravind Akash and Sampath Raj. The movie will feature a refreshingly beautiful Sneha, Piaa Bajpai and Australian model Melanie Marie Jobstreibitzer. There is also some news in the air about Nayantara and Silambarasan making cameos in the movie. Produced by Soundarya Rajnikanth’s Ocher Studios and Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring the music, Goa is slated for a Jan 2010 release coinciding with Pongal.
This trailer leaves you in a curious state as it simply doesn’t give away any idea of the storyline and makes it tough even for an expert guesser. But, there have been rumors surfacing about this movie being related to the April 2007 Scarlet Keeling murder case. Let’s wait and watch if Venkat Prabhu is in for a hat-trick of hits.
